Concert in the park
The first concert in the park of the summer was last night. We joined the Balck Family and packed up our gear to head over to the park. We packed dinner, snacks for the kids, and of course red cups (well I think ours were white). The band was fun and played Bon Jovi songs. We ran into lots of friends, the Bricks included. Maddy gave her BFF a huge hug as they greeted eachother. Those girls are too cute. It was a great night! The kids loved it! Brody dances to ANY music possible and Maddy joins right in. It is going to be such a fun summer going to concerts with our little dancing machines!

Happy Birthday Papa!
We headed over to Nancy and Stan's house (Grandma and Grandpa's) to have a birthday lunch for Papa. Mike's Grandpa turned 86 on Thursday! It was a fun day celebrating him! Happy Birthday Papa! We love you!

Bike decorating
We got together with our "neighbors" for pizza in the street, a game of cornhole and bike decorating for the fourth. They aren't actually our neighbors on our street, but down the street and we pretend we live on their street. There are lots of kids in the neighborhood and Maddy and Brody love to play there. Thanks Balcks for letting us be your pseudo neighbors!
Who got stuck decorating the bikes? Why, daddy of course!
Just trying to keep up!
This was his pose for a long time and the whole block was watching him. He was very chill. We thought he must have had some serious thoughts going on.

Relaxin at Rancho
What an amazing family vacation we just had. We packed up our suits and headed out to Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage for some relaxation! It is an amazing resort with waterslides, a lazy river and pop up fountains. The kids had the best time and so did we! There is no better feeling than being with my family. We relaxed, played in the pool, hit balls, read books, and just had fun being together! Maddy and Brody are at such a fun age and keep us laughing a lot. We had such a great time that I told Mike we might make this a yearly tradition. :) There are lots of pictures to tell the story...
