How big is Brody? SO BIG

Dear Brody,

You are ten months old and getting SO BIG! That is your favorite game to play right now too. You love food and can't get it in to your mouth fast enough. Pancakes and waffles are your favorite right now. You are fond of Ritz crackers too. I thought you would be my baby that ate anything, but you are proving me wrong. The other day I gave you soft carrots and peas and you spit them out. You aren't loving your veggies. You stand by yourself and cruise around all the furniture. Daddy and I think you will be walking before your first birthday. You think it is very funny to dump Dakota's water bowl all over the ground and you get there faster than we can. You love to play with Maddy and you wave to her all the time. Thanks for bringing so much love to our lives little man. We can't get enough of you!

We had a day full of Halloween festivities! This morning Mike and Maddy carved our pumpkins for Halloween. Mad wanted to make Brody's have a paci in it like him. Hers has a big smile face. Then this afternoon we had our Halloween party for the Mom's Group in Ladera. Maddy was so excited to get dressed up in her Cinderella dress and she looked SO pretty. Brody was such a good sport and never tried to rip his dog head off or the paws. People commented on how mellow he was just sitting there looking around. We are looking forward to Halloween on Saturday!

GIGGLES!!

Brody loves to play peek a boo and thinks that I am pretty funny :). His laugh is so cute. Mike and I were dying listening to his laugh. He has a deep chuckle. Enjoy! Sorry for my annoying loud voice on the video.

Pretend City

Yesterday we took Maddy and Brody to the new Pretend City (museum) in Irvine. It is so fun for kids. There is a whole "city" for them to play in and imagine. Maddy loved the market and the hospital the best. She really wanted to be a doctor after playing with Grey's doctor set. She mailed letters, picked fruit and painted a picture. Brody also enjoyed playing there, crawling around the infant areas and making music. We had a great time!

It's Halloween Time

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today and had a great time. Maddy has been talking about going all week. She was so excited to ride the ponies. Well, guess what? Once we got there, she was too scared to ride them. Instead she watched her cousin, Greyson, ride them around and cheered him on. Bri, Grey, Gamma and Poppi joined us there to have a fun Sunday! We rode rides, measured the kids, picked out our pumpkins and had a good time. After, we went to lunch and watched the Angels SWEEP Boston. Oh yeah! I grew up an Angels fan and Mike a Dodgers fan so our children are torn. I had Maddy on my side until today when she started cheering for the Dodgers.. Mike is very proud! There are lots of pictures from today and Maddy and I enjoyed looking at the pictures from her first two Pumpkin Patch visits as well. This was Brody's first!

Washing Cars

Maddy and Daddy washed their cars yesterday! It was so cute to watch Maddy copy Daddy wash his car. She made sure to clean the tires too. She is definitely sparkling out there now when she drives around. She has the cleanest car in town!

We got a tooth!

Brody's first tooth popped through. I wasn't sure if he would have teeth before his first birthday :). He has been teething for quite awhile and he FINALLY has a tooth. The second tooth should be in any day now! So exciting! Our little guy is growing up!

Happy Birthday to Gamma!

My mom's birthday was last weekend and we celebrated her Friday night at Javier's. It wasn't a complete night without the carousel for the kids. Maddy helped Gamma blow out the candles. Then Saturday, Mom, Bri and I had lunch and spa day! Thank you mom for being such an amazing, giving, loving person, mom, and friend! I love you so much and Maddy and Brody are so blessed that you are their Gamma and such a BIG part of their lives! XOXOXO
