i heart this picture! the kids love watching daddy shave in the mornings and this morning they got to pretend they were too. i loved the way they smelled all day. :)

Thankful 2010

We started Thanksgiving off with the Shwams at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We played, wrestled and had fun. Then we were off to meet the Reehls for dinner at Aliso Viejo Country Club. There is so much to be thankful for this year..our health, family, love and eachother! Our bellies were full and we had a good time. Two nights later we gathered again at mom and dad's for a homecooked meal and ice cream! :)

We went out one cold fall day to collect leaves. Maddy loved looking for different colored ones and Bro just loves to hear the noises they make when he squeezes them. They were being so cute, I just took lots of pictures.

Daddy and Me Day

Mike and Maddy had a Daddy Day today at her preschool. She was so excited to show Daddy where they play and what she has done in her classroom. Mike has taken Maddy to school before, but at drop off you aren't allowed in the classroom, so this was his first time in. They had a special snack, played on the playground and sang songs.  Maddy was very excited to be with her Daddy on this day. I was very excited to see that my hubby took pictures while they were there!

When I saw this picture Mike had taken, I couldn't stop smiling! I love that Maddy makes things like this at school.  It is so sweet. She obviously cherishes those park dates with Daddy.

One of Mad's favorite things on the playground is the rice table. They switch colors depending on the season. She is playing with her friend, Mia.
