The walk tired this little guy out- since he skipped his morning nap. However, he woke up in time to play on the grass.

He wanted to try the scooter out too. His smile shows the thrill he was feeling.

Last Sunday we went to Salt Creek to walk the trails and then play on the big grass area. It was a perfect day. The weather was beautiful and so clear. It was warm and crisp. We even saw a pod of dolphins swimming in the middle of all the surfers. The kids rode Maddy's new scooter and ran and chased eachother. They even got thrown in the air by Daddy, one of their favorite things to do. It was one of those times that I looked at my husband and my kids and where we live and felt truly blessed.
